My friend Ronny generously asked me to open for him at The Comedy Cellar in New York recently. He works out new material at the Cellar's lounge venue in his semi-regular Sunday 7pm and 9:30pm shows.
Ronny started out in Melbourne and has come a long way very quickly as a result of his crazy work ethic and natural instinct for funny. He is now a correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and has his own sitcom on the ABC.
If you ever see his name on a line-up, be sure to head along and being some friends to see him. You won't regret it. He's on tour in Australia for the next two months.
