Cartooning another Cartoonist

I had the nervous pleasure of being commissioned to draw another cartoonist last week- and not just any cartoonist; a regular New Yorker cartoonist (!). No pressure or anything...

The cartoonist is the very talented Avi Steinberg. I was only reading one of his cartoons that week in the New Yorker when the request came in. You can see his work here.

It was a gift organised by his partner. I was a little self-conscious about drawing him, knowing he'd see all the mistakes, but here's how it turned out.
