Overloaded power sockets used for an alleged hydroponic marijuana set-up could have started a Perth house fire, police say. Firefighters were called after tradesmen noticed smoke pouring from a window in a Balga house. Police said the blaze was coming from hydroponic equipment in the corner of the room. Officers later allegedly found cannabis material in a back shed. A 32-year-old-man was later charged by summons with cultivating cannabis.
