"Australia" Preview released on the Internet · 19 May 2008
The first preview look at Baz Luhrmann’s epic, Australia was released on the internet today – and by all accounts, it looks good! (above)
It was filmed in my home state of Western Australia, and it looks as if Luhrman’s really used the landscape to the film’s best advantage.
Although despite the official trailer looking great, I cracked up at the mock version posted on YouTube by a fellow 1984 baby – Stuart Bowen.
Good work Stuart.
Particularly hilarious were Lara Bingle’s cameo along with the mention of every Australian actor who has ever worked in Hollywood. (Bit of a fan of the Spider-Man score for the intro too!)
