Context : The Commonwealth Games has come to a spectacular close in Melbourne last night (Sunday), whilst
the victims of tropical cyclone Larry are trying to pick up the peices. The media coverage today (Monday) has been
an incredible contrast between celebrations in Melbourne with people drooling over the pieces of gold around our
heroes' necks and the massive recovery effort in Innisfail with victims reeling from the disasterous scene that are
their homes. They have a massive recovery ahead of them, infrastructurally, economically and mentally. There are
mental health groups now saying that the victims of the cyclone will need serious mental help to recover.
Talk about Melbourne rubbing it in.
