Context : The Perth MLA John Hyde wants the Commonwealth and State Governments to introduce
compulsory deterrent pictures on cigarette packets. “The ‘smoking kills” word message is useless these days,
we need the bigpictures of rotting teeth,collapsed lungs and other visual deterrents on all cigarette
packaging,” said Mr Hyde.
Also this week, the two ringleaders of the Bali 9 Heroin-Smuggling case in bali have been sentenced to death by
firing squad. The drug-mules in the case have been sentenced to life in a Balinese prison.
