REJECTED BY EDITOR

Context

EDITOR'S IDEA)
Perth
city councillor Bert Tudori (above) suggests that the Lottowest skyshow for
Australia Day should be cancelled and have the funds diverted to a charity to
aid the tsunami victims. Perth Lord Mayor Peter Natrass dismisses the suggestion
on the basis that the fireworks show has already been paid for. Cr. Tudori suggested
that he and other councillors walk around the foreshore on the night and rattle
tins.. (that would be a sight, eh?)
REASON REJECTED: Way too insensitive.
Fireworks were to be the cause of the cracks - doesn't really show that.. at
all. Pretty crap really.

Australia Day Skyshow 2005 sparks debate over funds going towards asian earthquake/tsunami
victims
REASON REJECTED: Still too insensitive.
Don't think it would go down too well.. with anyone.
